                      On the morning of May 23, the China Industrial Association of Power Sources (CIAPS) held the first working meeting for the group standard Technical Specifications for Fire Safety Testing of Lithium-Ion Battery Energy Storage Systems at the InterContinental Hangzhou. The meeting was chaired by Liu Yong, Secretary-General of the Energy Storage Application Branch of CIAPS.

              Fifty-two representatives from 37 organizations, including the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Energy Storage Application Branch of CIAPS, attended the meeting.
